Terms of use

These terms govern use of the derappar.at website. They are not the contractual terms applicable to Apparat’s services, which are set out in a separate document provided to the client.

Access to the site is free and open. It must not be disrupted, and no attempt may be made to reach non-public areas. The registers and the specification are, by contrast, meant to be read by machines: automated consultation of them is expected and welcome, in accordance with the published crawling policy files.

The content of this site is provided in good faith. The registers Apparat publishes attest to the fidelity of information to its public sources, not to the truth of those sources; this distinction is set out in how it works. The registers are not designed to contain personal data, and extraction is scoped to exclude it.

Apparat does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site. The registers, served as files, do not depend on this site being available. The site links to public sources, code repositories and third-party registers, over which Apparat exercises no control.

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts having authority over the registered office of Der Apparat. For any question: thomas@derappar.at.
